Must all cameras be connected simultaneously and constantly, or is it possible to use the same "synchroniser" and pass it on from camera to camera ? I know (if possible to do) this shall introduce some drift in timecodes, but it probably will be limited if we operate a re-synchronisation often... say every 10 or 15 minutes. Anyone to have a clever answer about this, or a very didactic tutorial...? That would be appreciated, a lot. ✋️🙂 As of now, my knowledge in timecoding is on par with the one I have about juggling with 12 balloons... non-existent. And I'm supposed to film concerts during the forthcoming summer, for small music bands with very limited budgets. Any trick to do this will help tremendously, so the audio/video synchronisation will become easier when editing. Because, until now... it's a nightmare ! Thank you all.

Hi there. Need some advice if you don't mind. Tamron 28-75 G2 or the latest Sigma 24-70 II? I shoot mostly indoors in low light with no flash. I need sharpness and quick AF.

Got the Focus Pro All-in-one combo about a month ago and struggling to use with a RS4 Pro gimbal. I have the transmission and Lidar connected with the new cable hub(square one), but as it turns out the gimbal wont power the transmission nor the lidar or the motors with this one. So you need to have a bunch of WB37 batteries ready and also a V-mount connected to the hub for the system to work. Been in contact with the DJI support and very bummed out by the whole deal…

I'd recommend getting a Falcam F38 Nonslip Quick Release Plate to attach to the bottom of the focus pro wireless hand unit. It does not want to sit upright and this solves that, also there is still clearance for the battery door to replace the internal NP-Fs.

Diopter calculation modes are common in nicer focus systems. It’s just some math, so DJI should implement that.

I have used the older cable hub with the new motors and calibrated just fine. Are there more features that I'm missing?

Well I’m the quirk of the bunch. I had the 70-200/2.8 GM II since I upgraded to it when it first came out. Been using f/2.8 versions on Canon and Sony for a long time as a sport and event shooter. I did originally own Sony’ version 1 f/4 when I bought into Sony’s mirrorless system 10 years ago and that was all they had. I have just now added Sony’s 70-200mm f4 Macro OSS G II because I wanted a lens for travel and landscape and f4 is enough I think. So now I own both and will use the f/2.8 on my A1 and the f/4 on my compact A7CR and A7CII when I travel. I don’t do video by the way. Take care.

For example if I want to use a 24-70 photo zoom lens on a FX3 - Can I then use the gimbal ONLY for ActiveTrack and then have the FX3 do the autofocus? Thanks!

I just bought this lens and use it for both Photography and Videography.... LOVE IT!! I came from using a Canon EF 70-200 2.8 II and an adapter so the upgrade is MASSIVE (that's what she said). Super happy

Sony 50mm 1.2 is exceptional! My other favorite is also the Sigma 35mm 1.2. Now that several Sony cameras have focus breathing compensation and that makes these lenses even better to use for cine.

This might be a stupid question but, isn’t stabilization really only beneficial for video? I have an a6000 and we’re going to Iceland in three weeks and trying to decide between those two lenses. We only shoot photos tho.

hi there , zg cine are only good for mirroless cameras , or small lights , just for reference on my red raven ( dsmc2 ) with the 5 inch monitor they last about 45min / 50 min when only power the camera , and at 25% they just die.. and i got a friend who have bebop micro v mount battery's , and they last 1h40min ... that's a huge gap , and they are the same 98wh , so people don't buy zg cine , trust me , invest directly on bebop nano or core swx nano battery's

I've got good price on 16-55 f2.8 (760 British Pounds) and it's insanely sharp lens. Nothing like I've seen on Sigma 18-50 while I had my X-T5/X-H2s. Tamron is tempring but bit large.

If I had both I would keep the 2.8 but as I am buyingas a new lens, I will be getting the F4 mainly because my use case is nearly always outdoor and often close ups , it will replace the 28-300 as my travel lens and will be a lot sharper

Just ordered the Sigma. It will be my first zoom lens. If I enjoy using it I may buy the Sony version. I need the weather seal for winter. The Tamron seems fine but is big.

I was blessed to pick up a Pocket 2 Creator Pack brand new for $80! It still has the plastic on the lens and other pieces. I’m torn between selling & using. I mainly capture car show cars and moving trains with a GoPro black 7 & my iPhone 13 Pro Max. Will I get better images out of the Pocket-2 or the GoPro 7? Thanks. I hesitate to pull the packing plastic off because then it’s no longer “New” for resale.
